ghost tree project

Greer Taylor - ghost trees - Wollongong Botanic Gardens

In 2021 Wollongong City Council engaged me to create a ‘growing’ sculpture over 4 weeks as part of Sculpture in the Garden at Wollongong Botanic Garden. As visitors came to the Dryland Garden site I invited them (about 350 people all up)  to contribute to this ‘growing’ sculpture which I called ghost trees.

NEWS:  I have been invited to be Sculptor in Residence again in Sculpture in the Gardens in April 2025 and have chosen to extend the ghost tree project into another chapter called translucence : grief tells you what you love.  Join my newsletter to get updates.
